SHOOT DAY EVALUATION 2

On the second shoot we only had to make one trip there due to there now being a extra car which was provided by the one of our new actors who was able to take equipment to the venue. Due to this we did not waste any time travelling and could get straight on with the filming. due to us having different actors we had to scrap almost every piece of the first day of filming. However this time we had a more detailed script therefore we worked more efficiently and got the footage we wanted to get. We also was able to to get the lighting  to a high standard  in both the main ball room and the smaller blue room in which we filmed many parts of the narrative. During the filming we also came up with new ideas to add but we made sure we had everything we wanted and more. In the first shoot we had problems with focusing the shots however in the second shoot we sorted this by using manual focusing which meant we focused each shot to our certain specification.
The next day we came together once again and reviewed the new footage which was fortunately much better than the first shoot and we felt more comfortable now we had a wide range of shots to use.

  1. Could you post some of this initial footage to your blog- with analysis of why it is not what was wanted and why?
